[News][120112] 2AM’s Successful Japanese Debut

4-member vocal group 2AM‘s venture to Japan has been met with great success.
2AM’s Japanese debut single, “Never Let You Go,” sold 11,219 copies on the day of its release on January 11th, earning them 3rd place on the Oricon Daily Single Charts. The single is the Japanese version to the group’s hit Korean song “Even if I Die, I Can’t Let You Go.”
The successful result was just as expected. 2AM had previously shown much popularity in Japan. On January 4th, 2AM’s single was first place on Tower Records‘ online reservation list. Additionally, tickets for 2AM’s first Japanese tour sold out within 10 minutes of going on sale.
2AM is currently staying in Japan and is planning on spending time promoting themselves there. They arrived at the Tokyo Haneda Airport on January 10th, where they were greeted by around 200 fans. They will be holding a “Hi Touch Event” and a live performance on January 14th and 15th.
